Youth is, of course, something wonderful. I love photographing young women — confident, embracing life, and enjoying every moment. But true, mature beauty has many faces. And it is not afraid of time.

As a mother of two and a woman approaching forty, I also know the deep secrets of womanhood. I know what pregnancy truly costs us.

I know about the stretch marks, the sudden extra weight, and the raging hormones that make you cry for no reason.

I know those quiet moments when you look in the mirror and ask yourself: 'Who was I before this little person appeared, for whom I am now their entire world?'

It is a true pleasure for me to capture this very femininity and photograph women who have gone through storms and transformations. Gentle and inspiring women, revealing their souls in front of the camera.

My mission is to reflect just how astonishingly beautiful these women — mothers — truly are. Not to prove it to the world, but to show it to them. Because they have often forgotten how to believe in their own magic.
